How to Successfully Work with A Freelance Writer

35025797_sWhen you simply don’t have the time, the inclination, or the skills to craft your own content, engaging a freelance writer is your best bet.

Fortunately, professional creatives will provide a portfolio, allowing potential clients to gauge both the caliber of their writings, as well as their range of voices.  Think of it as a test drive.

Finding ‘a’ freelance writer is not difficult.  We number in the millions.  I currently subscribe to http://www.Guru.com (previously  http://www.Elance.com)  to find projects suitable to my particular skill sets and to find clients willing to pay a decent rate.

My mantra is simple: capturing and holding a reader’s attention to inform or influence, ideally both.

Whether you want your product to fly off the shelves, build your brand, or advance a cause, your readers must invest the time to ‘listen’ to your message.

The best way for you  to insure this caliber of writing is to invest the time to provide a complete picture of your target market and the message you want them to digest.

In the long term – much of this initial process will be assumed by the writer and you can get back to what you do best.

Let’s chat about your latest project – please feel free to contact me at: julie@Penultimate-Portfolio.com  I look forward to meeting you.
